Islamorealism Restores UKIP's Credibility.

'When your Lord revealed to the angels: "I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads & strike off every fingertip of them."' So Allah the Babylonian moon god tells his murderous believers, In verse 8:12 of his inchoate compendium of claptrap, the Koran.

Not very peaceful, really, is it? Hard to say how that can be construed as something gentle & lovely & part of a religion of peace, which is what we're all told Islam is. That particular quote looks more like something vomited from some dark age death cult, if there was such a thing. Good job Islam isn't one.

Well, we all know that Islam is a dark age death cult & so does the new leader of the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP), Gerard Batten, who took over from the disgraced Henry Bolton. Turns out he's not remotely apologetic about it either & is standing by his guns, as reported by MailOnline yesterday (hat-tip to Tommy Robinson 🇬🇧‏ @TRobinsonNewEra):

Ukip's new leader Gerard Batten insists he was RIGHT to describe Islam as a 'dark ages death cult'

  • Ukip's Gerard Batten was promoted to be interim leader at a meeting yesterday
  • Today he defended a claim made last year that Islam was a death cult
  • Batten insisted on Sky News it was a 'factually and historically' true claim

Ukip's new interim leader has insisted he was 'factually and historically right' to brand Islam a 'death cult'.

Gerard Batten faced condemnation less than 24 hours after taking the helm of Ukip following the sacking of Henry Bolton.

The London MEP said Islam was fuelled by 'dark ages ideologies' and claimed many Muslim migrants to the UK believed in a literal interpretation of the Koran.

He claimed new arrivals to Britain should be obliged to sign an agreement rejecting this view.

Mr Batten, a member of the European Parliament elected in London, was thrust into the spotlight yesterday after Mr Bolton was sacked by Ukip members.

On Sky News's Sunday With Niall Paterson Mr Batten did not rule out running for the party leadership on a permanent basis and insisted it still had a role to play on the national stage by making sure Brexit supporters were not 'betrayed'.

Defending his 'death cult' comments, written in a blog shortly after the 2017 Westminster terror attack, Mr Batten said: 'What I wrote there about Islam is factually and historically true.

'Anybody that cares to look at the history of Islam over the past 1,400 years will see that that is true.'

He added: 'It glorifies death. They believe in propagating their religion by killing other people and martyring themselves and going and getting their 72 virgins.

'Not all of them – that's not saying that all of them do believe that or do that – I'm saying that a significant minority believe that and they are the problem.

'But the trouble is they are justified in those beliefs by a literalist interpretation of their own so-called holy texts.'

Mr Batten has called for Muslims to sign a 'charter' rejecting extremism and has suggested no more mosques should be built in Britain until there is a place of non-Muslim worship in Mecca.

He told Sky News he wants Ukip to 'adopt a policy that says no foreign money should be allowed to fund extremist mosques and imams -which is what we have allowed Saudi Arabia and Pakistan to do over decades'.

He added: 'They have exported their ideology to us and we have to think that we are powerless to do anything about it.

'I don't think we are and I think we should do something about it.'

Former Ukip deputy chairwoman Suzanne Evans suggested she could launch a run for the leadership.

'I might very well, let's see,' she told Sky News.

But she has also called for Nigel Farage to return to lead the party to clear up the 'mess' he has created.
