An Excoriation of Our Prime Minister's Cowardice in the Wake of the Nairobi Horror.

For those of you of an Islamorealist disposition who have not already heard of David Wood (which, considering you've reached this backwater of the counterjihad, is difficult to imagine), he is an evangelical Christian missionary & apologist who has made it his business to expose Islam & minister to Muslims, a course of action that got him arrested in the Dearborn Four Scandal. He is a regular guest on the Aramaic Broadcasting Network & manages two websites: Answering Muslims & Acts 17 Apologetics for which he produces his own videos. In these short monologues he goes into Islamic scripture in some depth but does so with a wit that one would not instinctively associate with evangelical Christians. (Nine of his previous offerings can be viewed in the Videos section of the main site.)

In this, his latest disquisition, he tears Wee Davy Cameron to pieces over his cringing denial of Islam's role in Islamic terrorism & then efficiently demonstrates the direct cause & effect relationship between the two. For those of you in need of variety, do not fear, as a certain Mr Soetoro, or Mr Obama, or whatever he's calling himself this week, also comes in for a pasting for his own brand of craven dhimmitude.

It is a frightening thing to contemplate, just how supine, dishonest & characterless the leaders of the Western world are in the face of such rabid evil & how & when they may be replaced, & by whom, but in the interim, enjoy.

More Sectarian Killing in Iraq.

In a pattern that has become nauseatingly familiar to those of us who pay any attention at all to the horrors of Islam, Shi'ite Muslims have been targeted for slaughter in various locations across Baghdad, taking the lives of almost four dozen people, as far as the body count has taken the relevant authorities. This report comes from the BBC today:

Baghdad hit by wave of deadly car bombs

A series of car bomb blasts in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, has killed at least 47 people and injured many more, officials say.

The blasts targeted markets and car parks in mainly Shia Muslim districts of the city.

There has been a recent upsurge in sectarian violence, sparking fears of a return to the bloodletting of 2008.

More than 5,000 people have been killed so far this year, according to United Nations data.

Monday's blasts struck during Baghdad's morning rush hour, with reports of 13 bombs, most of them in Shia neighbourhoods.

Groups of labourers gathering ahead of the working day were among the bombers' targets.

One of the deadliest attacks was reported from the eastern Sadr City district where seven people were killed and 75 injured in a crowded vegetable market.

Another six were reported killed in Shuala, a mainly Shia area of north Baghdad.

The city neighbourhoods affected also included New Baghdad, Habibiya, Sabaa al-Bour, Kazimiya, Shaab and Ur, as well as the Sunni districts of Jamiaa and Ghazaliya, the Associated Press news agency reports.

'War with terrorism'

No-one has claimed responsibility for Monday's attacks, but Sunni Muslim insurgents have been blamed for much of the most recent violence.

The interior ministry accused rebels linked to al-Qaeda of exploiting political divisions and regional conflicts to sow violence.

"Our war with terrorism goes on," interior ministry spokesman Saad Maan told AP.

The recent upsurge in violence was triggered in April by an army raid on a Sunni Muslim anti-government protest camp near Hawija, north of Baghdad.

Many in the country's Sunni Muslim minority complain of being excluded from decision-making and of abuses by the security forces. Recent raids in Baghdad on suspected al-Qaeda hideouts in mainly Sunni districts are thought to have worsened grievances.

One of the bloodiest attacks over the past few weeks was a double bombing in a funeral marquee in Sadr City on 21 September, which left more than 60 people dead.

Several dozen people died in a wave of attacks on Sunday, including another explosion at a funeral.

A suicide bomber attacked a Shia Muslim mosque south of the city, causing the roof to collapse. More than 40 people are now known to have been killed in that incident.

Irbil, the normally stable capital of Iraq's autonomous province of Kurdistan, was hit by a series of bombings on the same day, killing six members of the security services. Officials said that violence could be linked to fighting between jihadists and Kurds in Syria.

Shi'ites & Sunnis have been at each others' throats for 14 centuries over a squabble in the seventh century over who should succeed to be Caliph, shortly after Mohammed's death. They take the opportunity to murder each other, to demonstrate their religious fervour, when there are no Jews, Christians or Hindus to massacre (see Kenya). It helps that they can call each other non-Muslims & so invoke the word of Allah, as set down in his perfect book:

And kill them wherever you find & catch them. Drive them out from where they have turned you out; for Fitna is worse than slaughter. Koran 2:191

And fight in the way of Allah, & know that Allah is Hearing, Knowing. Koran 2:244

We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they set up with Allah that for which He has sent down no authority, & their abode is the fire, & evil is the abode of the unjust. Koran 3:151

Therefore let those fight in the way of Allah, who sell this world's life for the hereafter; & whoever fights in the way of Allah, then be he slain or be he victorious, We shall grant him a mighty reward. Koran 4:74

And be not weak hearted in pursuit of the enemy; if you suffer pain, then surely they (too) suffer pain as you suffer pain, & you hope from Allah what they do not hope; & Allah is Knowing, Wise. Koran 4:104

Though God promised that one of two columns (would fall to you), you desired the one that was not armed. But God wished to confirm the truth by His words, & wipe the unbelievers out to the last. Koran 8:7

When your Lord revealed to the angels: "I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads & strike off every fingertip of them." Koran 8:12

And fight with them until there is no more persecution & religion should be only for Allah; but if they desist, then surely Allah sees what they do. Koran 8:39

  1. And let not those who disbelieve think that they shall come in first; surely they will not escape.
  2. And prepare against them what force you can & horses tied at the frontier, to frighten thereby the enemy of Allah & your enemy & others besides them, whom you do not know (but) Allah knows them; & whatever thing you will spend in Allah's way, it will be paid back to you fully & you shall not be dealt with unjustly.
Sura 8

O Prophet! Urge the believers to war; if there are twenty patient ones of you they shall overcome two hundred, & if there are a hundred of you they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they are a people who do not understand. Koran 8:65

Fight & kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait & ambush them using every stratagem of war. Koran 9:5

Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the last day, nor do they prohibit what Allah & His Messenger have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the jizya in acknowledgement of superiority & they are in a state of subjection. Koran 9:29

O Prophet! Strive hard against the unbelievers & the hypocrites & be unyielding to them; & their abode is hell, & evil is the destination. Koran 9:73

The Messenger & those who believe with him, strive hard & fight with their wealth & lives in Allah's Cause. Koran 9:88

Allah has purchased the believers, their lives & their goods. For them (in return) is the Garden. They fight in Allah's Cause, & they slay & are slain; they kill & are killed. Koran 9:111

O you who believe! Fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you & let them find in you hardness; & know that Allah is with those who guard (against evil). Koran 9:123

Truly, if the Hypocrites stir up sedition, if the agitators in the City do not desist, We shall urge you to go against them & set you over them. Then they will not be able to stay as your neighbours for any length of time. They shall have a curse on them. Whenever they are found, they shall be seized & slain without mercy – a fierce slaughter – murdered, a horrible murdering. Koran 33:60

So, when you clash with the unbelieving Infidels in battle, smite their necks until you overpower them, killing & wounding many of them. At length, when you have thoroughly subdued them, bind them firmly, making captives. Thereafter, either generosity or ransom until the war lays down its burdens. Thus are you commanded by Allah to continue carrying out Jihad against the unbelieving infidels until they submit to Islam. Koran 47:4

Sunday 29th September, Three Countries, 81 Dead, One Religion.

Pakistan, Iraq & Nigeria yesterday experienced, firsthand, the peacefulness of Islam & not for the first time.

Firstly, an murderous assault on an agricultural college in northeast Nigeria by Boko Haram (whose name means 'Western Education is Sinful'), as reported by Fox News:

Islamic terrorists kill at least 40 students in attack on Nigerian college

Islamic terrorists dressed in Nigerian military uniforms assaulted a college inside the country Sunday, gunning down dozens of students as they slept in their dorms and shot others trying to flee, witnesses say.

"They started gathering students into groups outside, then they opened fire and killed one group and then moved onto the next group and killed them. It was so terrible," one surviving student, who would only give his first name of Idris, told Reuters.

As many as 50 students may have been killed in the attack, which began at about 1 a.m. in rural Gujba, Provost Molima Idi Mato of Yobe State College of Agriculture, told The Associated Press.

"They attacked our students while they were sleeping in their hostels, they opened fire at them," he said. The extremists also torched classrooms.

Nigeria State Police Commissioner Sanusi Rufai told Reuters that he suspected that the terrorist group Boko Haram was behind the attack, but declined to elaborate.

Boko Haram is aiming to establish an Islamic state in northern Nigeria and has intensified attacks on civilians in revenge for a Nigerian military offensive against the group, Reuters reports.

Idi Mato said he could not give an exact death toll as security forces still are recovering bodies of students mostly aged between 18 and 22.

The Nigerian military has collected 42 bodies and transported 18 wounded students to Damaturu Specialist Hospital, 25 miles north, said a military intelligence official, who insisted on anonymity because he is not authorized to speak to the press.

The extremists rode into the college in two double-cabin pickup all-terrain vehicles and on motorcycles, some dressed in Nigerian military camouflage uniforms, a surviving student, Ibrahim Mohammed, told the AP. He said they appeared to know the layout of the college, attacking the four male hostels but avoiding the one hostel reserved for women.

"We ran into the bush, nobody is left in the school now," Mohammed said.

Almost all those killed were Muslims, as is the college's student body, said Adamu Usman, a survivor from Gujba who was helping the wounded at the hospital.

Wailing relatives gathered outside the hospital morgue, where rescue workers laid out bloody bodies in an orderly row on the lawn for family members to identify their loved ones.

One body had its fists clenched to the chest in a protective gesture. Another had hands clasped under the chin, as if in prayer. A third had arms raised in surrender.

Provost Idi Mato confirmed the school's other 1,000 enrolled students have fled the college.

He said there were no security forces stationed at the college despite government assurances that they would be deployed. The state commissioner for education, Mohammmed Lamin, called a news conference two weeks ago urging all schools to reopen and promising protection from soldiers and police.

Most schools in the area closed after militants on July 6 killed 29 pupils and a teacher, burning some alive in their hostels, at Mamudo outside Damaturu.

Northeastern Nigeria is under a military state of emergency to battle an Islamic uprising prosecuted by Boko Haram militants who have killed more than 1,700 people since 2010 in their quest to install an Islamic state, though half the country's 160 million citizens are Christian. Boko Haram means Western education is forbidden in the local Hausa language.

United States President Barack Obama on Tuesday described the group as one of the most vicious terrorist organizations in the world, speaking at a meeting with Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan at which both reaffirmed their commitment to fight terrorism.

Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau last week published a video to prove he is alive and prove false military claims that they might have killed him in an ongoing crackdown.

Government and security officials claim they are winning their war on terror in the northeast but Sunday's attack and others belie those assurances.

The Islamic extremists have killed at least 30 other civilians in the past week.

Twenty-seven people died in separate attacks Wednesday and Thursday night on two villages of Borno state near the northeast border with Cameroon, according to the chairman of the Gamboru-Ngala local government council, Modu-Gana Bukar Sheriiff.

The military spokesman did not respond to requests for information on those attacks, but a security official confirmed the death toll. The official spoke on condition of anonymity because he is not authorized to give information to journalists.

Also Thursday, police said suspected Islamic militants killed a pastor, his son and a village head and torched their Christian church in Dorawa, about 100 kilometers from Damaturu. They said the gunmen used explosives to set fire to the church and five homes.

Meanwhile, farmers and government officials are fleeing threats of imminent attacks from Boko Haram in the area of the Gwoza Hills, a mountainous area with caves that shelter the militants despite repeated aerial bombardments by the military.

A local government official said there had been a series of attacks in recent weeks and threats of more. The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he feared for his life, said Gwoza town was deserted when he visited it briefly under heavy security escort on Thursday.

He said militants had chased medical officers from the government hospital in Gwoza, which had been treating some victims of attacks. And he said they had burned down three public schools in the area.

The official said the Gwoza local government has set up offices in Maiduguri, the state capital to the north.

More than 30,000 people have fled the terrorist attacks to neighboring Cameroon and Chad and the uprising combined with the military emergency has forced farmers from their fields and vendors from their markets.

The attacks come as Nigeria prepares to celebrate 52 years of independence from Britain on Tuesday and amid political jockeying in the run up to presidential elections next year with many northern Muslim politicians saying they do not want another term for Jonathan, who is from the predominantly Christian south.

Next, there is what appears to be an overflow of the hideous civil war in Syria into the neighbouring Kurdish region of Iraq, as reported by Stars & Stripes:

Rare terrorist attack in peaceful Kurdish region of Iraq kills 6

Multiple suicide bombers struck the capital of Iraq's semi-autonomous Kurdish region Sunday, killing six and injuring dozens of others, according to a security official. It was the first major attack to hit what is known as Iraqi Kurdistan in years, stunning residents of the normally peaceful region.

The complex attack occurred outside the headquarters of the Kurdish secret police, known as the Asayish, around 1:30 p.m. local time in Irbil, capital of the three-province Kurdish area, according to a statement from the Asayish.

A mini-bus drove to the building's gate and detonated after coming under fire from guards. Then, four attackers on foot and strapped with explosives opened fire on guards, who returned fire, killing all of them, according to the security official. At least one blew himself up.

After emergency workers arrived, an ambulance packed with explosives drove to the gate and detonated, according to the Asayish statement. The Kurdistan regional government Health Ministry denied any of its ambulances were used.

Six people were killed and 62 injured, according to Kurdistan's health minister, and security officers and health workers were among the dead.

After the bombing, all roads into Irbil were closed as authorities searched for additional bombs. They advised those in the city to stay away from public places, major roads and government buildings.

Iraqi Kurdistan is an autonomous region bordering Turkey, Iran and Syria, with its own president, parliament, and army, known as the Peshmerga.

The Syrian civil war is raging just over the Kurdistan border, with Kurdish militias seeing heavy fighting against Islamist rebels, including the al-Qaida-linked al-Nusra Front and the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, which has a long history of terrorist attacks in Iraq.

More than 200,000 Syrian refugees have crossed into Iraq's Kurdish provinces, and Iraqi Kurdish President Massoud Barzani has warned his military could intervene if Syrian Kurds are not protected.

Authorities would not say if they suspected the bombing was connected to Syria.

The attack comes just over a week after regional elections, which saw the ruling Kurdistan Democratic Party hold onto power. The border to Syria was closed for more than two weeks around the election, only re-opening Sunday.

Iraqi Kurdistan has long been considered the safest region of Iraq, garnering significant foreign investment and even some tourism. Benefitting from a U.S.-enforced no-fly zone after the first Gulf War and seeing almost no fighting during the most recent war in Iraq, it has been an oasis of stability, in stark contract to Baghdad and other areas of Iraq, which have been rocked by a spate of deadly attacks in recent weeks and have seen rising levels of violence over the past year.

Before Sunday, the last attack in Irbil was a truck bombing in 2007 that killed 15 people. That was the first major attack in the city since June 2005. The last major attack in Iraqi Kurdistan was a suicide bomb at a hotel in the city of Sulaymaniyah in 2008 that killed one person and injuring 29.

Finally, a horrific car bomb in a market in the Pakistani city of Peshawar, as reported by NBC News (hat-tip to Jihad Watch:

At least 33 killed as car bomb hits market in Pakistan

A powerful car bomb blast killed at least 33 people, including women and children, in a busy market in the Pakistani city of Peshawar, according to a hospital official.

The explosion -- which sent plumes of dark smoke into the sky and destroyed many shops outside a police station in the historic Qissa Khawani market -- injured some 75 people, said Dr. Arshad Javed, executive director at Peshawar's Lady Reading Hospital.

Six women and four children were among the dead, Javed added. There was no immediate claim of responsibility.

The bomb that went off Sunday was some 300 yards from the All Saints Church, which was the scene of carnage just a week earlier. A bomb at the church in western Pakistan killed more than 80 people, one of the deadliest attack on Christians in the predominantly Muslim country.

On Friday, 19 people died when a bomb hit a bus carrying government employees home for the weekend in Peshawar's outskirts.

Nazar Ali, a book shop owner, had just opened his when Sunday's bomb went off.

"It was a huge blast that was followed by fire in vehicles. Thick black smoke covered the air and splinters spread all over. I saw people lying dead and bleeding all over," he told Reuters.

A number of the older buildings in Qissa Khawani are made from wood which easily caught on fire when the bomb went off, senior police officer Shafqat Malik told Reuters.

Violence has been on the rise in the last months, undermining Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's efforts to end an insurgency by holding peace talks with the Taliban.

Taliban militants have rejected Pakistan's constitution and call for the implementation of Islamic law and for war with India. Sharif and his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh on are due to meet the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly on Sunday.

Perhaps someone should ask Imran Khan whether he still wants the Taliban to open an office in Karachi.

It should be noted that the Taliban, Boko Haram & al-Nusra are not affiliated to each other. The only reason we can find for their profound similarity in outlook & ruthlessness must be the fact that they are operating from the same instruction manual:

And kill them wherever you find & catch them. Drive them out from where they have turned you out; for Fitna is worse than slaughter. Koran 2:191

Allah wished to confirm the truth by His words: 'Wipe the infidels out to the last.' Koran 8:7

Your Lord inspired the angels with the message: 'I am with you. Give firmness to the Believers. I will terrorise the unbelievers. Therefore smite them on their necks & every joint & incapacitate them. Strike off their heads & cut off each of their fingers & toes.' Koran 8:12

So fight them until there is no more Fitna & all submit to the religion of Allah alone. Koran 8:39

Koran 9:29

Koran 9:111

Koran 47:4

Turkish Judge Beholds Islam, Promptly Apostatises.

I may be guilty of a little exaggeration in the title of this post but his remarks were still surprising enough to warrant this report from The Washington Times today (hat-tip to Winds of Jihad):

Turkey's Chief Justice: If that is Islam, I'm no Muslim

In a lecture entitled "Human Dignity and the Constitution" at Alparslan University, Turkish Chief Justice Haşim Kılıç touched on the violence being perpetrated in Muslim countries and said, "If this is what is means to be a Muslim, then I am no Muslim." The Chief Justice was attending a ceremony for the opening of the 2013-2014 academic year.

Only rarely does the West get to eavesdrop in on the self-criticism of Middle Eastern countries. In fact, a common complaint here in the West is that Muslim countries are not sufficiently critical of their own shortcomings. However, this perception is, like many perceptions, a skewed view of the truth.

Chief Justice Kılıç made this very clear yesterday. He said, "If we were to just analyze Muslim countries in particular, such as Pakistan, Afghanistan, or India, and even closer to home, Iraq, Iran, Syria, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia and Algeria, they are all on fire. They are burning up. It is impossible to speak of human dignity in these places.

We see it every day on television. One day it is a suicide bomber; the next it is a bombing. What kind of culture is this? What kind of faith is this? How can you explain the violence in countries which teach and believe that 'killing one person is like killing all of humanity while saving one life is like saving all of humanity'.

If this is what it means to be a Muslim, then I am no Muslim. This is impossible."

This kind of honesty and introspection by Muslims is rarely heard in the West, and it is not often voiced publicly in the Middle East either, which is why Chief Justice Kılıç's comments made headlines.

However, this question, this conversation, this self-doubt is actually rampant in the Muslim world.

There is a Turkish proverb that says, "Stick yourself with the needle before you stick someone else."

That doesn't make it easy though. Objective self-evaluation of one's own culture is always difficult, more so when the application of faith and religion are being criticized. In fact, it can be downright dangerous as hundreds, even thousands, of people have paid with their lives for criticizing the status quo in this part of the world.

Without a conversation of this kind, however, real progress is impossible.

Referring to the recent bombing in Pakistan, Kılıç also criticized violence against non-Muslims. "Where does religion permit one to enter a church, blow it up and kill 80-100 people? How can you explain such violence, such inhumane action with Islam and being a Muslim? There is something wrong here. I am drawing attention to it so that everyone will examine this error more closely. I do not think it is possible that this belief system gives people the right to do such things. This is impossible, but when you look at these violations of (human) rights, you see them in Muslim countries, but not so much in other countries."

Courageous words in the Middle East. Hopefully, they will not make him the target of radical Islamist groups in his own country.

I HAVE REPENTED

During the question and answer session following the lecture, the Chief Justice was asked what he regretted most in his career. The answer was telling. "I have been a member of the Supreme Court for 20 years. I have signed verdicts for the closure of 19 political parties. My signature has approved the closure of political parties who hadn't really done much. Later, I really repented of this. Since 1995, I have not signed any decision to ban parties that simply express their opinions without resorting to terrorism."

Confession is good for the soul.

Dissent has been muzzled in Turkey for decades. The banning of opposition parties was part of the court's job description.

After the government's brutal crackdown on protestors this summer, Prime Minister Erdoğan is set to unveil his "democracy package" on Monday. There has been a lot of speculation both regarding the contents and the motivation behind it. Maybe the remorse expressed by Chief Justice Kılıç is catching. Let us hope so, for democracy and freedom is one bug Turkey desperately needs.

Well, that was refreshingly honest of Chief Justice Kılıç if somewhat naive, for it is clear that he has not read his Koran as thoroughly as one might have hoped. His question: "How can you explain the violence in countries which teach and believe that 'killing one person is like killing all of humanity while saving one life is like saving all of humanity'?" is easily answered with the observation that this is a quote from the Koran, verse 5:32, to be precise, that states, in its full form:

Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.

If that sounds just a touch familiar to Westerners' ears it is because that is, partly, the inscription on the ring that Itzhak Stern presents to Oskar Schindler at the end of Mr Spielberg's one mature work. It is, in fact, a quote from the Mishna, Sanhedrin, a work of Jewish jurisprudence dating from the third century AD & plagiarised in the Koran.

That would be embarrassing enough for anyone insisting that the Koran is the absolute & perfect word of some creator of the Universe, but verse 5:33 goes on to say:

Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah & His Messenger & strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands & feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; & for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment,

The examination of those verses answers sufficiently His Honour's initial question.

As to his other major questions: "Where does religion permit one to enter a church, blow it up and kill 80-100 people? How can you explain such violence, such inhumane action with Islam and being a Muslim?" That is quite easy, as we survey a whole swathe of Koranic verse:

Koran 8:39

Koran 9:29

Koran 9:111

Koran 47:4

Therefore, as we consider the good Justice's contention that: "I do not think it is possible that this belief system gives people the right to do such things." we are forced to declare that he is quite wrong in his, what seems to be, blind faith that there is some real Islam out there that is peaceful & tolerant & to which most Muslims adhere.

It must be a horrible realisation to be smitten by, that the faith with which one has been raised, not to say brainwashed, is a filthy raft of hate & gibberish. One does not envy any good person at all, who has had the misfortune to be born into a Muslim household & beholds the misery & madness that his identity wreaks upon the world.

For someone who finds himself placed in that invidious position, it seems that the only solution is for them to say 'I am no Muslim.'

Yet More Islamic Violence in Iraq.

The tally of violent deaths in Iraq for the month of September got turned up by eleven today as various Islamic wing-nuts did various violent acts in various cities for Allah's cause but, Islam is a religion of peace, never forget to pretend.

Today's carnage is brought to you by The Daily Star:

Iraq violence kills 11: officials

BAGHDAD: Violence that included attacks on security forces and their families killed 11 people in Iraq on Saturday, officials said.

In Tarmiyah, north of Baghdad, militants blew up four houses belonging to police and soldiers while people slept inside. Four people were killed, among them a soldier, and 15 wounded.

Southeast of the capital, a roadside bomb in a market killed one person and wounded eight, while a magnetic "sticky bomb" on a car killed an electricity ministry employee in Baghdad itself.

A roadside bomb also killed a civilian in Baiji, north of Baghdad, while militants attacked a checkpoint near the town, leaving two gunmen and a soldier dead. Afterwards, authorities announced a curfew in the area.

Gunmen also attacked a local council member's convoy near Baquba, north of Baghdad, killing one of his guards and wounding two.

Iraq is witnessing its worst violence since 2008, when the country was just emerging from a brutal sectarian conflict that killed tens of thousands of people.

There are persistent fears, bolstered by a spate of sectarian attacks this year, that the country is slipping back towards all-out Sunni-Shiite conflict.

Militants, including those linked to Al-Qaeda, frequently carry out attacks against Iraqi security forces and other government employees.

The latest violence brings the death toll to more than 740 people in September and more than 4,550 this year, according to AFP figures based on security and medical sources.

Pakistani Politician Notices Taliban Are Terrorists, Bowls Khan a Googly.

You would think it bad enough that the gimp in the White House considers the Taliban 'partners for peace', but otherwise sensible politicians in Pakistan, people who regularly hear the bombs going off, thought that these primitives should get a shout in national politics, as reported by Dawn today:

Taliban office proposal dangerous, says Altaf

KARACHI: Terming Imran Khan's suggestion to allow the Taliban to open an office for peace talks a 'dangerous idea', Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has questioned the significance of talks with the outlawed outfit if the Taliban are not a unified group.

In a statement sent to Dawn on Friday, Mr Hussain, without naming anyone, said: "There are some politicians in the country who maintain that the issue can be resolved by holding dialogue and some even suggest that the militants should be allowed to open an office for this purpose, thereby recognising them as a legitimate stakeholder."

He said every country had its own well-defined stakeholders, which played positive and constructive roles in the process of nation-building. However, those working for weakening the country by engaging in destructive activities, non-state actors or anti-state elements could not be referred to as 'stakeholders'.

Referring to a recent all-party conference, the MQM chief said the forum gave the government a mandate to hold talks with extremists and militants to give peace a chance. But this did not stop militants from carrying out attacks and they also made it clear that they would continue to strike in future as well, he added.

"These recent acts of terrorism have provoked a huge wave of anger in the country and some quarters are demanding that the dialogue offer with the Taliban should be withdrawn forthwith," he said, adding that some pro-Taliban parties argued that the recent attacks were carried out by some fringe groups and not the Taliban, which they said had nearly 25 groups and some of them were still not in favour of talks.

Mr Hussain said their argument made the whole question of talks into deep complication because if the Taliban were not a unified body and lacked the ability to control other militant groups, would it be fruitful to talk to them?

"Should we talk to the Taliban or these fringe yet powerful groups or both?"

"We all recognise the importance of holding dialogue for resolving issues, but I would like to put a question to leaders, scholars and academicians: dialogue but with whom?"

This is encouraging, if Mr Hussain can see that the Taliban are a dangerous bunch of savages, then maybe Mr Obama will as well.

Medieval Cretinism from Saudi Sheikh.

After the previous post, with its savagery & evil, it is probably necessary to lighten the mood by having a giggle at the dopier end of the Islamic spectrum.

The venerable Sheikh Salah al-Luhaydan has pronounced upon the advisability of women driving, as reported by Al Arabiya today:

Driving affects ovary and pelvis, Saudi sheikh warns women

Saudi women seeking to challenge a de facto ban on driving should realize that this could affect their ovaries and pelvises, Sheikh Salah al-Luhaydan, also a psychologist, told Saudi news website sabq.org.

Driving "could have a reverse physiological impact. Physiological science and functional medicine studied this side [and found] that it automatically affects ovaries and rolls up the pelvis. This is why we find for women who continuously drive cars their children are born with clinical disorders of varying degrees," Sheikh al-Luhaydan said.

Saudi female activists have launched an online campaign urging women to drive on Oct. 26. More than 11,000 women have signed the oct26driving.com declaration that says: "Since there are no clear justifications for the state to ban adult, capable women from driving. We call for enabling women to have driving tests and for issuing licenses for those who pass."

Sheikh al-Luhaydan urged these women to consider "the mind before the heart and emotion and look at this issue with a realistic eye."

"The result of this is bad and they should wait and consider the negativities," he said.

Twitter reaction

Al-Luhaydan's statement drew immediate reaction on social media, with many Saudis ridiculing his "great scientific discoveries." A Twitter hashtag "Women_driving_affects_ovaries_and_pelvises" was created and is going viral among Arab users.

Female twitter user @Shams_AlShmous sarcastically applauded the sheikh's “exclusive scientific achievement."

A female user with the name of Ms Jackson @B_B1ack tells everyone: "What's your understanding of physiology, leave it to our Sheikh al-Luhaydan.

Another female @Mshaal80 asked whether al-Haydan "studied Shariah, medicine or foolishness."

Not part of Sharia

The head of kingdom's religious police said last week that the "Islamic sharia does not have a text forbidding women driving."

Sheikh Abdulatif al-Sheikh stressed that since he was appointed as head of the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice religious police have not pursued or stopped a woman driving.

It comes to something when you end up even more extreme than the Committee for the Promotion of Virtue & the Prevention of Vice, or the Mutawwa'een. These are the inbred scum who barricaded schoolgirls in a burning school because they weren't wearing their head bags, & let them burn to death. These are the idiots who declared the Earth to be flat.

Yet here is Sheikh al-Luhaydan making a damn fool of himself & his religion, & that's really going some.

SAVAGES! SAVAGES! SAVAGES! SAVAGES! SAVAGES! SAVAGES! OH, IF THERE IS SUCH A THING AS A CREATOR, COUNT THEM ALL & KILL EVERY LAST ONE!

For all those naive, politically correct cretins who assume – nay, insist – that Islamic terrorism is merely the cry of the voiceless, fleeced & oppressed masses striking out against the privileged & wealthy, & that would include, unforgivably, a former US ambassador to Nigeria, then the gratuitous violence towards the hostages in the Nairobi shopping centre should serve as a very piquant refutation of their bovine contention, as reported by MailOnline (hat-tip to John Barber @Barber1956):

'Eyes gouged out, bodies hanging from hooks, and fingers removed with pliers': Horrific claims of torture emerge as soldiers reveal gory Kenyan mall massacre details

  • Kenyan soldiers claim to find scenes of torture by mall terrorists
  • They say children found dead in food fridges with knives still in bodies
  • Men were said to have been castrated and had fingers removed

Soldiers told of the horrific torture meted out by terrorists in the Nairobi mall massacre yesterday with claims hostages were dismembered, had their eyes gouged out and were left hanging from hooks in the ceiling.

Men were said to have been castrated and had fingers removed with pliers before being blinded and hanged.

Children were found dead in the food court fridges with knives still embedded in their bodies, it was claimed.

Most of the defeated terrorists, meanwhile, were reportedly discovered 'burnt to ashes', set alight by the last extremist standing to try to protect their identities.

The horrifying details came yesterday as the first pictures emerged from within the wreckage of the building, showing piles of bodies left strewn across the floor. A third of the mall was destroyed in the battle between terrorists and Kenyan troops.

Lying in the rubble are feared to be the bodies of as many as 71 civilians who have been declared missing by the Kenyan Red Cross. With detectives, including the FBI and the Metropolitan Police, still unable to reach the wrecked part of the mall for fear of setting off explosives, it could take up to a week to determine exactly who is still inside.

Yesterday, soldiers and doctors who were among the first people into the mall after it was reclaimed on Tuesday, spoke of the horrifying scenes inside.

'You find people with hooks hanging from the roof,' said one Kenyan doctor, who asked not to be named.

'They removed eyes, ears, nose. They get your hand and sharpen it like a pencil then they tell you to write your name with the blood. They drive knives inside a child's body.

'Actually if you look at all the bodies, unless those ones that were escaping, fingers are cut by pliers, the noses are ripped by pliers. Here it was pain.'

A soldier, who took pictures at a bread counter and at the ArtCaffe, said he was so traumatised by what he saw he has had to seek counselling.

Bomb disposal experts with sniffer dogs were yesterday painstakingly combing the part of the building still standing for explosives before clearing forensic officers, police and troops to search for bodies.

Images also emerged yesterday revealing the true extent of the destruction caused to the centre during the four-day battle between Kenyan forces and Islamic militants.

The first pictures taken inside the site show a gaping hole in the mall's roof after three storeys collapsed when Kenyan soldiers fired rocket-propelled grenades inside the complex, knocking out a support column, a government official said.

Children's buggies are left abandoned just metres from the yawning pit, as cars hang precariously over the edge. Beneath many more vehicles lie on top of each other, smashed to pieces.

The collapse happened on Monday when government troops launched a massive assault on the mall where up to 150 people are thought to have been killed. During the firefight, hostages reportedly had their throats slashed from ear to ear and were thrown screaming from third-floor balconies as the siege came to a bloody end. Forensics teams, still sifting through the mountains of rubble, fear many more bodies are yet to be found.

Shell-shocked Kenyan troops said the inside of the Israeli-run mall resembled a 'scene from a horror movie' with blood spattered everywhere and dead bodies strewn across the floor.

The main thrust of the operation began at 6am on Monday when troops and helicopters surrounded the building, but their efforts were hampered by an Al Shabaab sniper who managed to pin them back for nearly 24 hours.

As tear gas was used to try to flush him out, another terrorist reportedly blew himself up. It is believed the resulting fire may have killed dozens of shoppers in a supermarket.

The following day, the soldiers were ordered to adopt a 'shoot to kill' policy and launched their final attack on the terror group on the roof of the mall at 5pm.

The mall was retaken about half an hour later.

Between 10 and 15 terrorists are thought to have stormed the mall on Saturday, according to Kenyan officials.

The police said five insurgents were killed in the battle and at least 10 taken into custody.

Let anyone dare tell us that mutilation has nothing to do with Islam, let them explain this:

Your Lord inspired the angels with the message: 'I am with you. Give firmness to the Believers. I will terrorise the unbelievers. Therefore smite them on their necks & every joint & incapacitate them. Strike off their heads & cut off each of their fingers & toes.' Koran 8:12

Does that sound familiar? How about the cutting off of noses, how about this picture?

Or, how about the butchery of Safed in 1929?

Or this, in Armenia in 1915?

Butchery, slaughter, mutilation & sadism have always been part & parcel of Islam. This is what provoked the Crusades, the mutilation & murder of pilgrims to Jerusalem. This is what happened in Woolwich, this past April.

We are going to see much, much more of this & do not let any shallow Prime Minister instruct you that Islam is peaceful.

Islamic Savagery in Dunstable, Police Issue CCTV Image.

Entitlement. If one is taught, through 'religious' texts, that one is a member of: 'the best of the nations raised up for men' (Koran 3:110) then a crippling sense of entitlement is what shall burden one, in one's dealings with members of 'lesser' nations, no matter that one may be residing in their homeland, that homeland being England.

So, were a Muslim to attempt to engage an Englishwoman in a potentially amorous exchange in an inn or hostelry, then she had better count her lucky stars & acquiesce, lest the follower of the one true religion wax wrathful & summon his brethren to exact just revenge for such scorn, as reported by the Luton & Dunstable Express on Wednesday (hat-tip to BAN ISLAM @BANISLAM2):

CCTV: Images released of man involved in Dunstable attack which left a woman unconscious

A WOMAN was punched in the face twice during a night out in Dunstable with her friend.

The 21-year-old was in the Old Sugar Loaf at around 12.30am on Sunday (September 22), and had been pestered by an Asian male inside the venue.

As the victim and her friend were leaving the pub and stood in the car park, the pair were approached by the same male who claimed that the victim had been racist which she refuted.

The male made a phone call and shortly afterwards a group of six or seven men arrived with one - an Asian male, in his early 20s, skinny build, five feet six inches tall, wearing dark blue jeans and a light blue jacket – assaulting the victim's friend and then punching the victim twice in the face causing her to lose consciousness and suffer swelling to her jaw.

If you recognise the individual in the images or have any information relating to this incident, contact the Crime Service Team, in confidence, on the non-emergency 101 number quoting crime reference JD/33612/2013. Alternatively contact independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111, or online at crimestoppers-uk.org.

This prince among men & his friends clearly considered it their right to claim any kafir woman as their own without reference to her own ideas. To explore precisely why this would be the case, it might be salutary to peruse the example of the prophet of Islam:

When we reached Khaybar, Mohammed said that Allah had enabled him to conquer them. It was then that the beauty of Safiyah was described to him. Her husband had been killed, so Allah's Apostle selected her for himself. He took her along with him till we reached a place called Sad where her menses were over & he took her for his wife, consummating his marriage to her, & forcing her to wear the veil. Sahih Bukhari 5:59:523

The Muslims said among themselves, 'Will Safiyah be one of the Prophet's wives or just a lady captive & one of his possessions?' Sahih Bukhari 5:59:524

From the captives of Hunayn, Allah's Messenger gave Ali a slave girl called Baytab & he gave Uthman a slave girl called Zaynab & Umar another. Ishaq's Sira 593

Although this offence may be prosecuted under a different charge from those Muslims who have engaged in the horror of serial paedophilia around the country, we can, quite easily, observe that it is all of a piece with the sunnah (traditions) of Mohammed.

Allah's Glory in Jammu & Kashmir, Eleven Dead.

The ongoing efforts to cleanse the northern provinces of India of Hindus & Sikhs continue apace with this latest episode reported by the Hindustan Times on Thursday:

Terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir attack merciless from the word go

The militants were merciless from the word go, say the two drivers ordered at gun point by the three Jammu attack terrorists to ferry them at dawn today after the men sneaked from across the Indo-Pak border.

The journey of the three terrorists aged between 16 and 19 to carry out the audacious twin terror attacks in Jammu region began from Haria Chuk nursery in village Jhandi where Roshanlal, who runs an auto rickshaw load carrier to transport vegetables, had his first brush with them.

Details of the movement of the three heavily armed terrorists were given by a police official after initial investigations.

Roshanlal told the police that three people suddenly emerged from a graveyard adjacent to the nursery and pointed a weapon to his head directing him that they be taken to an Army unit at Samba.

The three terrorists spoke in chaste Urdu and their shoes had fresh mud stuck to it indicating that they had crossed over barely an hour before they met the driver.

Unaware what the intentions of the three men were, Roshanlal was reluctant to drive them to the Army camp for which he was beaten up.

Then suddenly one of them, who seemed to be a team leader, asked him to take them towards the national highway.

After travelling through lanes and by-lanes of the area, the three, one of whom was sitting with Roshanlal in the front, reached Hiranagar national highway.

After taking a round of the area, the terrorists spotted two policemen and enquired from Roshanlal whether there was a police station nearby.

The hapless driver ferried them to the police station but he quickly jumped out of the moving vehicle when the terrorists began loading magazines on their assault rifles.

The terrorists shot and injured Roshanlal after which they entered the police station in Hiranagar in Kathua district after killing the duty sentry Constable Shiv Kumar.

They entered the barracks where assistant sub-inspector Rattan Singh, constable Pradeep Jamwal and Rattan Chand and SPO Mukesh Kumar were present.

As soon as cops saw the terrorists, they jumped out of the barracks but the assailants kept on shooting. This resulted in the death of three of them.

The terrorists then went to the station's rooftop where they shot at another ASI Gaggu Ram and left after they presumed he was dead.

The three later came down and spotted a truck which had been seized by the police previous day.

The terrorists asked the cleaner of the truck Feroz Ahmed to drive them to the Army camp who refused prompting the trio to fire and killing him on spot. They then asked the driver Mohammed Arif to ferry them to the Army camp, who did it for the fear of his life.

Before leaving the police station, the terrorists killed one Suresh Kumar, who runs a PCO adjacent to the police station.

As they reached the Maheswar Army camp in Samba, 18 kms from the police station, the terrorists disembarked from the truck and hurled grenades at the army camp killing the sentry on the spot. A cavalry armoured unit is stationed at the camp.

The truck driver then returned to police station and informed the authorities about the daring attack.

The terrorists continued indiscriminate firing and managed to slip into the Officer's mess which was targeted leaving many officers and jawans injured.

The injured army personnel were airlifted to Satwari base hospital where Lt Col Bikramjeet Singh and Sepoy K Reddy were declared brought dead. Two sepoys who were injured in the attack later succumbed to their injuries.

Col Uthaiah, the commanding officer(CO) of the unit, was also injured and he has been admitted to the ICU in a hospital in Pathankot, an army official said in Delhi.

Sending teenagers across the border to shoot policemen is about par for the course for the ISI, but it is lucky that these kids were not a sight more merciless than they were. More seasoned terrorists would have seen the nursery itself as a target & waited around for the kids & their parents to show up, like they did in Beslan.

Only last Saturday, mothers & children were shot in cold blood in Nairobi when they proved unable to name the bitch in heat who spawned the paedophile prophet. Bad as this was, it could have been a lot worse.

Friday 27th September, Four Bombs, Three Countries, 59 Dead, One Religion.

It was a busy day for Islam today, as true believers followed the path, striving Allah's cause, slaughtering the unbelievers. Here are three stories of carnage, all from the same publication, all from the same day: Firstly, news from Syria:

Car bomb kills at least 30 north of Syrian capital

BEIRUT: A car bomb exploded near a mosque north of the Syrian capital as worshippers emerged from Friday prayers, killing at least 30 people, activists said.

The blast, which struck outside the al-Sahel mosque in the town of Rankous, also wounded dozens of people, according to the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. It was not clear whether the mosque itself was the target of the attack.

Mohammed Saeed, an activist in the eastern Damascus suburb of Douma, and the Observatory's director Rami Abdul-Rahman both said the town is held neither by the rebels nor by the regime in Syria's civil war. Abdul-Rahman said residents have an agreement with the rebels not to bring weapons into Rankous in order to avoid government shelling.

Saeed, who is in contact with activists in Rankous, about 40 kilometers (25 miles) north of Damascus, said residents held funerals for some of those killed in the bombing, in line with Islamic tradition that calls for a prompt burial. As people marched in one funeral, several rockets fired by government troops fell nearby, wounding some of the mourners, he said.

Car bombs, shelling and airstrikes have become common in Syria's civil war, which has killed more than 100,000 people and driven another 7 million - around a third of the country's pre-war population - from their homes since March 2011. The conflict has heavily damaged cities and Syria's social fabric as it has taken on increasingly dark sectarian overtones, pitting a primarily Sunni Muslim rebel movement against a regime dominated by President Bashar Assad's Alawite sect.

The fighting has shown no sign of abating, and could complicate the mission of U.N. experts who are back in Syria this week to investigate the alleged use of chemical weapons earlier this year.

The United Nations said Friday the team will investigate a total of seven sites of purported chemical attacks, four more than previously known. The announcement from the U.N. office in Damascus came a day after the five permanent members of the Security Council agreed on a resolution to eliminate Syria's chemical weapons.

The draft agreed upon on Thursday by Russia, China, the United States, France and Britain includes two legally binding demands - that Syria abandons its chemical stockpile and allows unfettered access to the chemical weapons experts. If Syria fails to comply, the draft says the Security Council would need to adopt a second resolution to impose possible military and other actions on Damascus.

In Damascus, the U.N. office said the experts, who returned to Syria on Wednesday, are continuing to work "on a comprehensive report that it hopes will be ready by late October."

"The report is based on a number of allegations presented to the United Nation Secretary General, of which seven have been found to warrant investigation," it said. The statement also said the U.N. experts have received several documents and samples and have conducted many interviews.

The team initially went to Syria last month to investigate three alleged chemical attacks earlier this year. But just days into their visit, the rebel-held Damascus suburb of Ghouta was hit by a chemical attack, and the inspectors turned their attention to investigating that case.

Their inquiry determined that the nerve agent sarin was used in the Aug. 21 attack, but it did not assess who was behind the rocket barrage.

Among the new sites the team plans to investigate is the northern town of Khan al-Assal, outside the city of Aleppo. Assad's government and Syrian rebels have traded accusations of chemical weapons use in an attack there on March 19.

The team also plans to look into allegations of chemical agents being used in the Damascus neighborhood of Jobar, the northern town of Saraqeb, the Sheik Maksoud neighborhood of Aleppo and three other sites.

Secondly, news from Iraq:

Bombings and shootings kill 10 in Iraq

BAGHDAD: Bombs exploded near two Sunni mosques Friday in Baghdad as a series of attacks nationwide killed 10 people, Iraqi officials said.

The deadliest attacks were bombings targeting worshippers as they were leaving weekly Muslim services in mainly Sunni areas in the Iraqi capital.

At least five people were killed and 21 wounded in a bombing targeting the Sunni al-Tawheed mosque in the southern Dora neighborhood, and two Sunni worshippers were killed and 11 others wounded in a similar attack in western Baghdad, police officials said.

There has been a spike in bombings of Sunni mosques in recent months amid rising political and sectarian tension in the country, although it is unclear who is to blame. While it is possible that Sunni insurgents could be to blame for the mosque attacks, hoping to stoke sectarian hatred, Shiite militias may also be behind the assaults.

Hours later, a suicide bomber drove his explosive-laden car into an army checkpoint in the northern city of Mosul, killing two soldiers and wounding 11, police officials in the city said.

Gunmen also shot and killed police Col. Ghazi Ahmed after storming his house in the former insurgent stronghold of Hawija, 240 kilometers (150 miles) north of Baghdad, police said.

Hospital officials confirmed the casualty figures for all attacks. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to media.

More than 4,500 people have been killed since April, when violence began to surge after government security forces staged a deadly crackdown on a Sunni protest camp in the north. The minority sect has grown increasingly angry over what it sees as unfair treatment at the hands of the Shiite-led government and tensions have risen markedly since U.S. forces withdrew in 2011.

The growing unrest - marked by frequent coordinated car bombings and other attacks blamed mostly on al-Qaida's local branch targeting police, the military and often Shiite Muslim areas - is intensifying fears Iraq is heading back toward the widespread Sunni-Shiite sectarian killing that peaked in 2006 and 2007.

Much of the Sunni anger stems from allegations that vague anti-terrorism laws are being used to detain Sunnis arbitrarily. Followers of Shiite cleric Muqtada al-Sadr also held a demonstration Friday calling for the release of detainees from the movement, which was involved in the past violence before al-Sadr declared a cease-fire.

Finally, news from that bastion of the religion of peace, Pakistan:

Bomb kills 19 on government bus in north Pakistan

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: A bomb exploded in the back of a bus carrying government employees in northern Pakistan on Friday, killing 19 people and wounding dozens, officials said.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility but militants battling the government in northwestern Pakistan often target troops, officials and symbols of the state.

Friday's attack took place as the bus was traveling through the outskirts of the city of Peshawar, the provincial capital. It was carrying employees at the end of the work week back to their home city of Charsadda.

The explosion also wounded 46 people, said police officer Arif Khan.

Last year, at least 18 people were killed in the same neighborhood in a similar attack on a bus carrying government employees to Charsadda.

A school teacher Haroon Khan was critically wounded during that attack but recovered - only to die during Friday's blast, the officer said.

Pakistani television showed images of the bus with its tail end completely mangled.

One witness, who was not identified, told Pakistan's Geo Television channel that he was driving his car behind the bus when the blast ripped open the back end. He said people riding on the roof of the bus - a common sight in this country's overcrowded traffic - were thrown to the side.

One of the injured passengers speaking from his hospital bed said he was on his way to his village when the bomb went off.

"I was sitting in the bus, and all of us were chatting when suddenly a powerful blast shook us, and something hit me in the chest," said Mehboob Ali, 42, speaking from a hospital bed.

Militants in northern Pakistan who are trying to overthrow the government and establish a hard-line Islamic state have been waging war in the northwest against the military.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif came into office in June with a promise to open negotiations with the militants to end years of conflict.

But the talks seem to have gone nowhere so far, and the militants have continued with attacks such as the one on Friday.

Last Sunday, two suicide bombers attacked a church in Peshawar, killing dozens of Christians. Militants in northwestern Pakistan also killed a Pakistan Army general earlier in September.

Many in Pakistan support talks with the militants whom they see as fellow Muslims unfairly targeted by the military at the behest of the U.S. government. Washington has repeatedly urged the government to deal with militants in the tribal areas bordering Afghanistan to the west.

University student Hazrat Bilal, 23, was wounded in Friday's the blast. He urged the government to hold peace talks with the militants.

"If the peace talks fail, then the government must take firm action against these militants," Bilal said.

How could such similar things happen thousands of miles apart without any sign of coordination? Could it be that the independent perpetrators are all operating from the same instruction manual? Here are some words from Allah:

Koran 8:39

Koran 9:29

Koran 9:111

Koran 47:4

It would appear that they are.

Yet More Muslim-on-Muslim Violence in Iraq.

As often repeated, in the absence of Jews, Christians, Hindus or Buddhists to persecute, Muslims are always happy to slaughter each other, witness Syria. All a Muslim has to do is profess loyalty one of Mohammed's mates or another, either of whom died 14 centuries ago, for another Muslim to cry 'takfir' & let the bloodletting begin.

This recent episode in the Sunni/Shia charade is reported by Voice of America today:

Iraq Bombings Kill 21

Iraqi officials say at least 21 people were killed on Thursday in a pair of bombings at two busy markets in and around Baghdad.

Police say the deadlier attack occurred in the Sabaa al-Bour district, north of the capital, where three bombs exploded and killed at least 14 people. A separate bombing in the Dura area, south of Baghdad killed seven.

There have been no claims of responsibility.

Iraq has seen a surge in terrorism and violence this year amid tension between the country's Sunni minorities and the Shi'ite-led government. The attacks have raised fears of all-out sectarian warfare.

The U.N. says more than 4,000 people have been killed between April and August of this year.

You see, Sunnis do not consider Shi'ites to be real Muslims, & vice versa, & Allah has some very clear instructions for Muslims in how to deal with non-Muslims, as enunciated in his very own book:

Koran 8:39

Koran 9:29

Koran 9:111

Koran 47:4

Islam is a religion of peace because, once all the non-Muslims have been murdered, there will be peace, or not, if you happen to be Shi'ite.

Rapejihad in Bristol, Two Men in Court.

Yet another case of rape & exploitation of vulnerable, young – criminally young – English girls on the part of creepy adherents to the 'teachings' of Mohammed (piss be upon him) has emerged in the West Country, as reported by This is Bristol on Monday (hat-tip to Answering Muslims):

Men in court over rape of young girls

TWO men have appeared in court charged with raping underage girls who were under the care of social workers.

Bristol Magistrates' Court was told the house where the girls were living, which cannot be named for legal reasons, effectively became a brothel.

The victims were placed in the home, which the court heard was supported housing, by social workers.

The men, one of whom is an asylum seeker who has been given the right to remain in the country by the Home Office, are accused of child sexual exploitation, which includes sexual activity at the home, as well as at the Premier Inn at St James Barton roundabout.

One of them is also charged with paying a child for sexual services.

Said Zakaria, 21, also known as Target, of Seymour Road, Easton, is charged with sexual activity with a 13-year-old girl and rape of a girl aged 14 at the Premier Inn and the home.

Gama Mohammed, 32, also known as G, of Gordon Road, Whitehall, whom the court heard was an asylum seeker, spoke through an interpreter to confirm his name, age and address.

He is charged with rape at the same home and paying for the sexual services of a child at the Premier Inn.

They both denied all the charges at Bristol Magistrates' Court on Friday.

Appearing separately, the two Somali men were remanded in custody. They are due to appear at Bristol Crown Court on October 10.

The court heard that the defendants had been arrested as part of Operation Brooke – an investigation working with child exploitation teams.

Before the hearing, DCI Carolyn Belafonte, of Avon and Somerset Police, said: "Operation Brooke is a dynamic investigation; we're working closely with the Barnardo's child sexual exploitation team and other partner agencies to follow up every line of enquiry and, most importantly, ensure that victims are well supported.

"We would very much like to hear from anyone who believes they may have been a victim of similar sexual exploitation offences. You can call us on 101.

"We understand that reporting something to the police can be a bit daunting so if you think you are or have been a victim, and don't want to talk to us right now, please don't hesitate – talk to a parent or teacher or someone else you can trust.

"And if you do come straight through to us, I promise we'll listen, support you and take what you have to say absolutely seriously."

It may very well be that DCI Belafonte is keen to stress that the police will listen to complaints, because that has not always been the case, has it Carolyn? Time & again, previous grooming scandals have been caused by the constabulary's very timidity when it comes to the religion of peace (as reported extensively here), fearing accusations of racism or, heaven forefend, Islamophobia.

But, more interesting, for the purposes of this article, is the reason Muslims do it, & do it to non-Muslim girls rather than girls from their own community. That reason is the Sunnah, or example, of Mohammed, clearly the most egregiously evil individual to cloak himself in religious garb the world has ever seen. To wit:

Revolting, no? But try telling this to the media whores who decide what we should be told & what we should think & they won’t have it, it must not be said, they will not even attempt to refute the accusation, it just must not be said. This was amply demonstrated by Jonathan Dimbleby, in May 2012, on BBC Radio 4.

Out of the Spotlight: As Much Murder as Inside the Spotlight.

As much as our attention has been taken up by the horror in Nairobi, there were atrocities just as gruesome & savage committed on the same continent in the preceding days, & by adherents to the same religion. But we didn't hear anything about the horrors visited upon innocent motorists on the main road between Maiduguri & Damaturu, on the Tuesday before, (17th inst) or on the road between Maiduguri & Bamboa on the following Thursday. It could be that the oh-so-liberal television media did not consider this horror as important as Nairobi, because – for all their preaching about equality & political correctness – there were no Westerners involved.

This, from All Africa on Friday (hat-tip to Tesh Punja @HiteshPunja):

Nigeria: Benisheik Attack Death Toll Now 161

Maiduguri — Environmental officers yesterday recovered 87 more corpses of travelers killed by suspected Boko Haram gunmen during an attack on Maiduguri-Damaturu road near Benisheik town in Borno State on Tuesday.

This was in addition to 55 bodies earlier picked up on Wednesday, officials of the Borno State Environmental Protection Agency (BOSEPA) told journalists during a visit by Governor Kashim Shettima to the scene of the violence.

Heavily armed insurgents laid siege on Benisheik, Kaga Local Government Area on Tuesday evening, killing people and setting buildings ablaze.

They also blocked the Maiduguri-Damaturu highway, three kilometers away from the town, sorting out and slaughtering dozens of travelers.

Apart from the 142 travellers, also killed in the attack were 2 soldiers, 3 policemen and 14 villagers, bringing the total death toll to 161.

Yesterday, Shettima visited Benisheik where he condoled with the people and offered compensation to victims of the violence.

Saidu Yakubu, a senior BOSEPA official, who briefed Shettima at the highway killing spot, later told journalists "87 bodies were recovered in the bush and our people are still searching for more." Environmental assistant Abdulaziz Kolomi said, "Apart from the dead bodies recovered today (Thursday), we collected 55 on Wednesday and the fact is that we did not go deep into the bush where I strongly believe that many people have fallen there."

Our correspondent, who was in the convoy of the governor, saw two refuse compactor trucks loaded with decomposing bodies. Soldiers and policemen were seen providing security as environmental officers pull out dead bodies from the surrounding bushes.

During Shettima's visit, he was told that apart from the dead travelers, two soldiers, three policemen and 14 villagers were also killed by the insurgents who stormed the town in a convoy of over 20 vehicles.

Shettima, who was visibly shaken by the carnage, urged the residents to persevere and stop fleeing.

"What happened is barbaric and un-Islamic," he said.

"No one in his right senses will destroy the houses of the poor and their source of livelihood. God is with you, the people of Benisheik, and will liberate you from the hands of the wicked."

Shettima announced the release of N50 million for the rebuilding of over 100 houses and shops burnt in the town. He also approved N3.5 million to be shared among the families of the 14 people killed in the town.

He said in addition to the cash donation, assorted food items would be distributed to them to cushion the effect of the attacks. He also announced the setting up of a 5-member committee to carry out an in-depth assessment and recommend measures to enhance surveillance.

Shettima said government appreciated the efforts of vigilantes known as 'Civilian JTF' and announced the release of two Hilux patrol vehicles for them.

Brigadier General Mohammed Yusuf of the 21 Armoured Brigade, who briefed the governor in the town, said soldiers stationed in Benisheik ran out of ammunitions and this forced them to leave their places of duty during the incident.

"Our men did not desert Benisheik, they would be back latest by Friday (today) after full reinforcement," he said.

Another officer, Colonel Babalola, who briefed Shettima at the military base in the town which was also bombed by the insurgents, said, "Three policemen and two soldiers lost their lives during the encounter."

A soldier who spoke to correspondents in confidence said the insurgents had superior power.

"The terrorists were using anti-aircraft guns while we were using AK47 rifles and some RPGs. They came in droves, driving about 20 pick-up trucks accompanied with two light-armored tankers, all wearing military colors. We had to retreat to our base to reinforce after running out of ammunition," he said.

"However, they followed us down and surrounded our base and began to shell our building. We couldn't stand the heat of their superior fire power. We had to retreat into the village after they killed two of our soldiers and three policemen."

The soldier said after the siege, the insurgents took away an armoured tank and four pick-up vehicles painted in military colours from the base.

Villagers who insisted on leaving Benisheik yesterday said the Federal Government was not sensitive to their plight.

"We are being killed by insurgents who live in the bushes but the some people in Abuja are saying they are winning the war, how?" asks Kande Ali, a mother of five. "We have to relocate to safer places," she added.

There is always someone telling us that the latest atrocity committed by Muslims is "barbaric & un-Islamic" as a certain Mr Shettima has done in the report. Barbaric, yes, in spades, but un-Islamic? Violence & murder are as Islamic as the Koran, as it says in the Koran:

And kill them wherever you find & catch them. Drive them out from where they have turned you out; for Fitna is worse than slaughter. 2:191

Fight & kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait & ambush them using every stratagem of war. 9:5

Fight those who do not believe in Allah, nor in the last day, nor do they prohibit what Allah & His Messenger have prohibited, nor follow the religion of truth, out of those who have been given the Book, until they pay the jizya in acknowledgement of superiority & they are in a state of subjection. 9:29

The Messenger & those who believe with him, strive hard & fight with their wealth & lives in Allah's Cause. 9:88

Allah has purchased the believers, their lives & their goods. For them (in return) is the Garden. They fight in Allah's Cause, & they slay & are slain; they kill & are killed. 9:111

The official Arabic name for Boko Haram is, "Jama'atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda'awati wal-Jihad", which means "People Committed to the Propagation of the Prophet's Teachings & Jihad" & for all the taqiyya practiced by Muslims around the world, it is when they are in their element, on the safe end of a gun, when they never say a truer word.

Al-Shabaab Crowing Over Nairobi Slaughter.

There is no word to describe the mindset of an organisation that considers the murder of innocent civilians in a shopping centre such a victory as to inflate the numbers its members butchered, as we learn from The Daily Star today:

Shebab claim 137 hostages killed in Nairobi mall siege

Somalia's Shebab insurgents claimed Wednesday 137 hostages they had seized died in a Nairobi shopping mall siege, figures impossible to verify and higher than the number of people officially registered as missing.

The Al-Qaeda-linked fighters, in a message posted on Twitter, said "137 hostages who were being held by the mujahedeen" had died.

They also accused Kenyan troops of firing "projectiles containing chemical agents" to end the four-day stand-off.

'Evil' really doesn't cut it, 'Muslim' is the only descriptor one can use.

Then again, the subhuman savages do not acknowledge that the people in shops were innocent, as it says in that garbled pile of dross, the Koran:

You are the best of the nations raised up for men; you enjoin what is right & forbid the wrong & believe in Allah; & if the followers of the Book had believed it would have been better for them; of them (some) are believers & most of them are transgressors. 3:110

O you who believe! Do not take the Jews & the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; & whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people. 5:51

Surely the vilest of animals in Allah's sight are those who disbelieve, then they would not believe. 8:55

Also, the very idea that anyone would pay the slightest attention to their accusations of chemical warfare in the light of their bestial actions beggars belief & demonstrates what a warped view they have of right & wrong.

Clearly, they have seen the ridiculous arguments generated by such accusations in Syria & were hoping to stir up a little more diplomatic strife on top of the murder of mothers & children.
